Tuesday Piano Class

We begin Thursday, August 23rd. 

We will learn how to read music, how the keyboard is organized, how to count rhythms, and good posture for playing. We will also play games (interactive software and "hands on" games.) Each students will have his/ her own keyboard to play in class. 

A keyboard at home is a great addition, but is not required.

We use Pianomarvel.com as our main resource. Check it out with a free demo! Students can earn virtual trophies as they progress through the songs, as well as small rewards given in class.

At GWA dismissal time, piano students will go outside with their class as usual to the carpool area, but then they will go to the playground and meet together at a designated spot.. I will find them there and escort them to the music room . We will be done promptly at 3:45, so please be on time for pick up!
