Materials:

·         Your students does not need a binder this year for music. Instead, our class work will be kept in the music room. In the case of homework, assignments will be placed into your student’s regular classroom binder. A divider page for this section will be give out on Day 1 of music class.

·         Your students will be using an iPad for music for music for a few weeks, as part of the music/ technology topic. The same rules for use of technology at GWA apply in the music room.  Some apps for iPad will be recommended, but not required, for home use.

·

Staying on top of things:

A soprano recorder for home practice is HIGHLY recommended. If your student needs to borrow one, I have many to loan out.

IN THE CASE OF ABSENCE: THERE WILL BE MAKE- UP WORK. IT IS YOUR STUDENT’S RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK WITH THE TEACHER FOR THAT WORK. LATE WORK IS PENALIZED ACCORDING TO THE GWA POLICY. (see Parent/ Student Handbook)
